Paris celebrates 2-month birthday!
Birthdays are still sort of a non-event for Paris, but we like to make them special anyway. April 14 was her 2-month, and we gave her a little mini-party. Cake and everything (not for her). After "blowing out" her candles, Paris decided to give us a little show, getting completely excited and even laughing a tiny bit. That was a first for her. So check out the video and try not to come steal her away!

Our Baby is Here!
Our little baby came into the world on Valentines Day, February 14 2007. Paris Zen Martin was born at 6 pounds 11 ounces, 19 1/2 inches long. The labor began in the morning, lasting nine hours, and our baby was delivered at 2:13pm. We were especially happy because we were able to get through it while staying close to our birth plan. Jen was able to deliver naturally without any medical intervention. From the moment Paris was born, we stayed close so that we could bond together. It was altogether an incredible experience that we will never forget. Thanks to everyone who gave their support, and we would be happy to hear from you.

Baby Shower
Our baby shower on Saturday February 3 was a huge success! Thanks to all our friends and family who came, there was a great turnout and we really enjoyed ourselves. The party was hosted by Pam, Jen's sister, who worked very hard to make it all happen. Thanks Pam!
There were a few fun activities going on during the celebration, and although we failed to mention it, there are some great prizes. The prize for the Q-Tip guessing game was a pass for two to Soldier Hollow for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Congratulations to Trista for winning with her guess of 1236, which was closest to the actual number of 1151. An honorable mention goes to Ember Fryer for being the next closest with 1250. For the thank-you card envelope drawing, there was a prize of a Charlies Angels DVD and Bath & Body Works lotion. The winner of the drawing was Shannon Swensen. We will make sure to get your prizes to you.
